Time Running Out to Request Track Change for 2024-25!

 

Would you like to request a track change for your child for the upcoming 2024-25 school year? If so, be sure to submit your request using this electronic Google Form that closes on  5:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Spring Pictures on March 1

 

Strawbridge will be on campus on March 1 for spring pictures. Families do not need to pay in advance for these photos. Instead, portrait proofs will be sent home from the school in about 3-4 weeks with additional details about how to order actual photos. Click here to see package prices.

PTSA Assistance Needed for March 1 Chili Cook-Off Lunch and Teachers Lounge Refreshments

 

The PTSA is still in need of some items for the chili cook-off lunch for PHMS Staff on Friday, March 1. We especially need more chili provided. Please sign up here to assist.

School Supply Drive Ends This Week—Don’t Forget to Donate

 

​​Our counselors and National Junior Honor Society are hosting a school supply drive for the month of February. Thank you so much for the donations we have received so far. Click here to see a list of supplies we are currently seeking. We appreciate all donations, but specifically need more bookbags, notecards, pencil pouches, and headphones/earbuds. Please drop off any donations in the front office. Thank you!

Wake Up and Read Book Drive Collection Deadline Ends This Week

 

The Wake Up and Read Book Drive collection deadline has been extended until February 28th! Please help us spread the love of reading with others by donating new or gently used children's books (books for babies through age 12). We've collected close to 1,000 books so far and we're hoping to beat last year's collection total of 1,303 books. We'd love your support! Books can be dropped off in the main office or in the collection boxes inside the PHMS Library.

Athletics Updates from Mr. Adams

Tryouts for spring sports begin this week with boys soccer and girls softball beginning on Monday. Track tryouts will begin on Tuesday. As a reminder, all tryouts are closed for spectators. We want the kids’ focus to be on the field and toward their coaches. Below are additional details about tryouts for each sport.

 

Boys Soccer 

• Tryouts are Monday and Tuesday (If we need Wednesday,  we will announce at the end of practice Monday).

• Each day will end at 4:45.  Parents can pick up in the Carpool loop. PLEASE BE CAREFUL when picking up your child as there will be a lot of foot traffic at the time. 

• DO NOT enter the carpool loop prior to 4:40.

      

Girls Softball

• Tryouts are Monday and Tuesday and will end at 5:00.

• Parents can pick up at the softball field, but please DO NOT ENTER that parking lot before 4:45

• Girls need to be prepared for indoor and outdoor tryouts.

 

Boys & Girls Track

• Tryouts are Tuesday and Wednesday until 4:45.

• Parents can pick up in the carpool loop but should NOT enter the loop before 4:40    

      

Tryout results for all sports will be posted on Twitter and Instagram using numbers assigned to athletes at tryouts.
