- From Our Athletic Director, Mr. Adams: Another busy week for the Pilots. Congrats to our Softball and Soccer Teams this past week. Softball went 2-0 against Carroll and East. Softball went 2-0 this week against Carroll and East. The track teams competed very well against Leesville this past week, the girls team dropping by a mere point. 5 School Records were broken during the meet, so congratulations to all. The following info is from LRHS coaches for any players who might be interested:
- LRHS Football: If you are able to attend the PAC summer camp for football, the coaches strongly encourage this. Use this website to keep up to date in football info. https://www.lrhspride.com/
- LRHS Soccer: Again this summer, we are seeking to collect as much knowledge of our potential players as soon as we can. Potential Player Interest Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfDkJXrkdUHgBbT1GCNwcXLAVHNctvSiCgmDBpeiJSMshW5nA/viewform?usp=sf_link Feel free to forward to other potential players. This form allows us to gather details about our players, create communication platforms, and make our processes more efficient for our program.
- Summer workouts: One of my favorite parts of the season; summer workouts are back. The schedule is attached for your use. Again, as with the rest of the materials included in this message, feel free to pass the schedule along to other potential players that you know. The workouts are NOT MANDATORY. We use them as preparation for the season, a chance to improve, and a chance to get to know each other, new players and returning players alike. Mandatory attendance does not begin until July 31st, which is the first day of team selection. Prior to attending workouts, players must receive clearance through Dragonfly.
- Youth Soccer Camp: Like the Masters, the FA Cup and the 4th of July, the Leesville Pride soccer camp is a fixture of this time of year. We are building a tremendous staff of current and former Pride soccer players from our Men's and Women's programs and are very excited about finding the next generation of Pride soccer stars. Many of our female and male players have attended camp in their time. Our camp is for males and females, of all experience levels. We are excited to add our High School Prep program. This is designed specifically for rising 9th graders who are gearing up for high school soccer. We will have separate groups for male and female players to more specifically address the unique needs of each player. The younger campers will play games each day focusing on skill development, and building their love and enjoyment of soccer. Click Pride soccer camp for registration or use the link from the attached flyer. Current high school students are not eligible to attend camp.

- School Tours: If you know a family who might be interested in sending their child(ren) to Pine Hollow next year, please encourage them to sign up for a tour using this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0c4ea9a62da13-phms.
- Teacher Recognition Program: Is there a teacher or staff member you would like to celebrate for doing a terrific job? Has someone been consistently outstanding or maybe gone above-and-beyond recently for your student/family? If so, I encourage you to nominate that person for our Top Gun Staff Member of the Month award. There aren’t any firm rules or requirements to nominate someone for recognition. The point of this is to recognize a teacher or two each month who was nominated by a student or parent. The teacher(s) would be recognized in front of their peers at the next staff meeting. In order to nominate someone, just fill out this form and make sure to clearly explain why you think they are deserving of this recognition.
- Have a great week and remember, at Pine Hollow Middle School the sky is the limit!!
