Weekly Message for 9-10-23

Posted by Justin Carrington on 9/10/2023

Hello Pine Hollow Middle School community. This is your principal, Dr. Carrington, with the weekly family message for the week of September 10, 2023!

Bus Information

As you likely know by now, we are currently in the midst of a bus driver shortage. As a result, there continue to be some intermittent delays and interruptions to bus service. To stay abreast of last-minute updates, we encourage families to follow and subscribe to the @PineHollowMS on X (previously Twitter) to receive timely updates and school information.  Our school website is also another great resource to stay informed, as we will attempt to publish updates here as soon as we receive them from Transportation. Bus rider families are also encouraged to subscribe to the Here Come The Bus app.

Donate to the Soaring with the Pilots Fundraiser

Want to support our school PTSA without the hassle? If so, the “Soaring with the Pilots” fundraiser (formerly known as “Invest in Your Child”) is for you. Click here to learn about this fundraiser and to donate. You can even share with relatives as a way for them to support your child’s school. In addition, there are a lot of great prizes that donors can possibly win!

Help Stock the Teachers Lounge Amazon Wishlist

Please help the PTSA stock the teachers lounge. Click here to access the Amazon Wishlist. When you order the items, they get sent directly to the PTSA and they bring them into school and stock. When checking out, please select Erika Eisner.

Athletic Updates

To stay up to date please follow our Athletic Director (Mr. Adams) on Instagram (PineHollow16) or Twitter (@PineHollowAD).

From Mr. Adams: I would like to thank all of our parents and athletes for your patience and flexibility during tryouts.  We have always dealt with heat in the past, but never having a Code Black before noon and continuing until 7 pm.  With the schedule we are given, we do not have time for too many interruptions. Thank you for helping us to make the best of the situation.  Football parents, a special thank you for making our first morning tryout happen.
