Hello Pine Hollow Middle School community. This is your principal, Andrew Livengood, with the weekly message for March 15.

• Field Trips: All trips have been cancelled for the remainder of the school year. We are working with WCPSS central office to determine how refunds will be issued. As soon as I have more information, I will forward it to our PH community.
• Coronavirus Information: Visit wcpss.net/coronavirus for the latest information from WCPSS.
• National Junior Honor Society: All 7th grade students may apply for membership in the Pine Hollow Middle School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society who have a cumulative GPA of a 3.8 on a scale of 4.0 and have attended PHMS for one full semester. All 7th grade students on tracks 2, 3, and 4 received a packet of information the week of March 10-13. The due date is March 24, 2020 by 3:30 pm. • Spring Pictures: Have been distributed. Please either submit payment for the pictures or return the packet back to the school.
• WCPSS Student Survey: Every spring our district asks students in grades 5-12 to complete a survey. Students need their Power School ID to complete the survey, and it is available in English and Spanish. Students can complete it now through April 1.Please ask your student to click the following link to complete the survey: https://surlogin.wcpss.net/
• Elective Registration: Attention rising 7th and 8th grade parents, your child will be registering for his/her elective classes soon. The process will be completed online during the school day with Mr. Febres, Mr. Martin, and/or Ms. Muhs. In preparation for your child making the best choices, please review the elective options/course descriptions as a family (Click here). The registration dates by track: 6-1 (April 2nd), 6-2 (March 23rd), 6-3 (April 3rd), 6-4 (March 25th), 7-1 (April 1st), 7-2 (March 27th), 7-3 (April 13th), and 7-4 (March 24th).
• Yearbooks: Yearbooks are still available. The price will increase to $50 on April 1, so order yours today and save five dollars. All yearbooks are ordered online http://www.strawbridge.net/Our school code is YB112059.
• School Tours: Student Services is now offering tours for future Pilot families interested in learning more about our awesome school. Click here to schedule a tour or visit our webpage and find “PHMS Tours” under the PILOT NEWS heading on the left side of the page.

• Athletics:
  • All activities (practices and games) have been suspended until further notice.
  • To stay up-to-date on Athletics, follow Mr. Adams on Twitter (@PineHollowAD) and use our athletic website. These outlets are updated first.
