BES Multicultural Night 2023

We are excited to hold our BES Around the World Multi-Cultural Family Engagement Night. This special event will take place on Thursday, March 16th, 2023.  If you would like to sponsor a table about a country or your personal heritage, please fill out the following link. All forms are due by March 1st.

Spirit Booth

Hi Briarcliff Families!

We are starting our Spirit Booth Wednesday mornings starting February 22 from 8:40-9:20 am.  Some of our 5th grade students will be helping Mrs. Viverette sell fun and practical school supplies.  The school supplies range from 25 cents to $1.50.  We are selling pencils, fidget toppers, pencil erasers, and sharpeners.  We will only accept cash at this time.  Students will have an opportunity to earn Briarcliff Bucks for excellent classroom behavior.  The spirit booth will be located outside the cafeteria.  All proceeds from the spirit booth will go back to our school.  Please contact Cammie Viverette with questions: cviverette@wcpss.net

Tables Needed for Book Fair

We are going to need to borrow 8 folding tables for our Book Fair. Since it is the same week as Multicultural night we will need a lot more tables. If you have a 6-foot or longer folding table that we can borrow, we would need it dropped off by Monday, March 6th, in the morning. If you can help us, please complete this form

Helpful Tip #8:  Zones of Regulation

5th Grade Families ONLY

Greetings 5th Grade families,

We are excited to inform you of some upcoming events to help support the transition to Middle School.

We have coordinated with East Cary Middle School to take a field trip to the campus on March 28th. This field trip is open to all 5th-grade students. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to hear from current middle school students and visit a middle school campus. We are sending permission forms home today. We will need these forms back by February 24th. Additionally, East Cary open house for families is on March 15th from 5:30-8:00 PM.

More middle school information will be coming out in the next several weeks. This will include information about electives, core classes, and registration. If you have questions about other open house dates or specific middle school questions we encourage you to contact the middle school directly.

From, Ms. Wooten

Book Fair Donations

Our goal for the book fair is that every child is able to purchase at least one book. We’re collecting donations towards a goal of $1000 so that we can offer student scholarships to cover this cost. We are also bringing back teacher wishlists! If you’d like to purchase a book for a specific teacher you may do so at the book fair. If you’d like to contribute toward the goal of ensuring every teacher receives at least one book from their wishlist you may do so at the fair or online. Follow this link to the Memberhub store to make a donation for student scholarships or teacher wishlists: https://briarcliff.memberhub.com/store?limit=21&live=true
