Asynchronous Days
The following days will be used for asynchronous learning. We will be providing students work to complete, but they will not have to be live for instruction. They will have a class meeting that morning at 9:00 to get materials and directions. Classroom teachers will be providing more details as we get closer to the dates below:

Book Checkout Update:
Thank you for your support in our first week of Bulldog Books To Go! We checked out 350 books this past week! As you read your library books remember, they can be returned to Briarcliff any school day between 8am-4:30pm
To checkout more books use our online catalog, Destiny Discover, to place books on hold. Once your books are ready you will receive an email notifying you that you can come by the school to pick up your books. Pick up is completely no-contact and safe, Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30pm outside the front entrance of Briarcliff Elementary! Families can begin placing holds this week.
Ms. Soder has created a webpage with all the information on book checkout, including video tutorials on returning library books, as well as how to place holds. Here are directions for placing books on hold.

Coffee and Conversation

Device Distribution
We are hosting three make-up device distribution days at Crossroads III, 111 Corning Rd, Cary:
- Monday (9/28) 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Tuesday (9/29) 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Wednesday (9/30) 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Distributions will ONLY be held at Crossroads III in Cary.
Students do not need an invitation email or invitation date in the tool to attend. Any student who has requested a Chromebook as indicated in the Tech Survey Tool can pick up during these times. The Student Help Desk will be open at the distribution center. Students with a currently checked out Chromebook or hotspot may bring it to the distribution center to be repaired or replaced.

AIG
Hi Parents and Family!
I wanted to invite you to an AIG/Talent Development google meet on September 23 at 6:00 pm and the other option is September 30 at 6:00 pm. We will discuss AIG and Talent Development, upcoming activities, and answer any questions or concerns. You do not have to attend both!
