Staff Spotlight

You can shout out your BES teachers and staff! Did your student have a great week? Did you see a teacher do something extraordinary? Did the school look especially clean? You will soon be able to recognize these teachers and staff - your shout out may be featured on our website or in the lobby!

If you would like to provide a staff shoutout, please click here or go to the school website.

Canned Food Drive

Briarcliff Student Council is hosting a canned food drive through the end of February. The food we collect will go to The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. Did you know that they not only support families in need but also support disaster relief efforts in NC. Students may drop off non-perishable food items in the designated boxes in the main hallway.

5th Grade Parent Meeting

The fifth grade Camp Hanes and Human Growth and Development meeting has been rescheduled due to elections being held on campus that night.  The new date is THURSDAY, MARCH 5th at 5:30 in the media center. Packing lists and rules will be discussed. It is strongly encouraged all chaperones attend.  Due to the sensitivity of the content discussed in Human Growth and Development, children should not attend this meeting. Students will get Camp information during class.

Immunizations

When your child goes for a check up and gets new immunizations please drop a copy off to the front office so we can update their record.

There is only one place to drop off and pick up students. Please consider the message it sends to our students when the adults are not following procedures.
