Summer 2023 Updates - 7.26.23 Memo
We hope all our Leopards are enjoying their summer vacation and are excited about getting prepared for the 23-24 school year! We are one short month from being ready to receive our Leopards for another fantastic year!
Bus Transportation
If your Leopard is registered for bus transportation and will not need that seat, please go to https://www.wcpss.net/Page/35002 and decline transportation. This will help WCPSS make routes that are most efficient.
Scanning Photo ID Required
Please be aware, all visitors to our campus will need to scan their photo ID into our new sign-in system in order to gain access to our building. Once approved, you will be permitted to come into the front office to get your visitor/volunteer pass. We appreciate your patience in giving us additional time in order to support the safety of our Leopards.
Due to the new system, ALL volunteers will need to reregister this school year. More information will be forthcoming on that process. This process typically requires you to be on a WCPSS site to register.
After School Care
We are happy to announce that we are working with the Finley YMCA to host an after-school care program on our campus for the 23-24 school year. The program will run from 3:00-6:00pm daily. I am currently working with the YMCA on some of the expectations and logistics and hope to have more information soon. Please reach out direct to Brad Barnes (757-739-4014), Finley YMCA After Care Coordinator, to answer any questions you might have.

We are also in need of one long-term substitute as well as daily substitutes. We have been fortunate to have secured three of four long-term substitutes.
