WES' Weekly Principal's Message 9-27-21
Good Afternoon Wonderful Wakefield Eagle Families! This is your principal, Ms. Keech, with this week's announcements. A copy of this transcript will be shared with our PTA and archived on our website under Principal's Messages.
- If necessary to check your child out of school early, please do so prior to 3:15 as it is very difficult to serve you due to dismissal preparations and, you will need to wait until dismissal is complete for getting your child.
- If you have been issued a carpool number (which all parents should have by now), please follow our carpool procedures. If you are parking your car somewhere and walking up to get your children, they will need to be walkers (Please note, that you may be subject to a RPD traffic violation if you are parking illegally on the street or a trespassing violation if utilizing our staff parking lot). You will not be able to utilize our call box for us to call your child from the classroom to the front until after our dismissal has been completed. This is due to how busy we all are with providing a safe and secure exit for all children (carpoolers, walkers, busses, and cabs).
- If your child's transportation is changing from their normal way of getting home, you will need to let your child's teacher know IN WRITING 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE
- Please do not allow your child to arrive early to school prior to 8:45 am each day (either by having them get out of the car prior to that time or by sending them walking/biking). We do not have supervision for your children prior to that time (Mr. Tony is a volunteer and not an employee), which may compromise their safety and security.
