WES' Weekly Principal's Message 6-7-21

Good Afternoon Wonderful Wakefield Eagle Families!  This is your principal, Ms. Keech, with your last weekly announcement this school year.  A copy of this transcript will be shared with our PTA and archived under our Principal's Message tab.

 

Last Day of School:

Our last day of school for students is this Thursday, June 10th.  We hope everyone will have a nice summer break and look forward to your return in the fall.

 

5th Grade Drive Thru Celebration:

The 5th Grade Drive Thru Celebration is this Wednesday, June 9th from 5:30-6:30.  Please speak to your assigned teacher about procedure and location of the drive thru.

 

Materials Drop Off:

Virtual Academy students who need to drop off school materials, wifi hot spots and etc., will be dropping off on Wednesday, June 9th during their assigned grade level teacher time.  Please speak to your teacher for details.

 

 

Summer Learning Camp:

Students who are attending Summer Learning Camp at WES will begin on June 21st and attend for 6 weeks until July 29th.

 

Yearbook:

Our PTA would like to share that due to issues beyond our control, the yearbook will not be available prior to the last day of school.

 
There will be two pick up days at the school, Thursday, June 17th and Friday June 18th from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm and 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm. outside the main entrance of Wakefield Elementary, as well as an option to arrange something outside of these days/times, in case these do not work for your schedule.

Also, there are still yearbooks available for purchase. The cost is now $25, we will accept cash or checks. Checks should be made payable to WESPTA.
