Good Afternoon Harris Creek Family,

Are you interested in Before or After School Care at Harris Creek through Raleigh Parks and Rec? Or are you interested in your child attending a Track Out Camp through Raleigh Parks and Rec? See more inform below. 

Starting on January 4th, 2021 Raleigh Parks & Rec will begin offering track out care (locations that may be helpful for our families would be Marsh Creek Community Center and Barwell Road Community Center). Starting on January 25th, 2021 they will be offering both before school and after school care for the remainder of the school year. 

Registration for the second half of the school year is scheduled to open on December 18th, 2020.

Tomorrow, Friday, December 18...

is ugly/crazy sweater/mismatch day! This is also our last live learning day for this semester. Students have Remote/Asynchronous Learning Days on Monday, December 21 and Tuesday, December 22. They will need to complete all of their Google Classroom assignments on those two days. Be sure to look at their Google Classroom and make sure their assignments are complete for the entire quarter, if not, please work with them next week to get them complete, especially for our Virtual Academy students. 

Virtual Academy and Cohort 2/B, Cohort 3/C 4th and 5th Graders

School Pictures are in! If you purchased a school picture package, you can stop by the school today, tomorrow or Monday to pick your picture package up. I ask that you not come during arrival and dismissal since we are very busy at that time. Please try to come between 9:30am-3:00pm. If you can not come during these times, call the school to make arrangements to come at another time. We will be sending the picture packages home with the in person students today. 

Winter Break

Students will be on Winter Break from Wednesday, December 23 through Friday, January 22. They will return to In Person or Virtual School on Monday, January 25. 

Teacher Changes

Due to some reassignments of students to and from Virtual Academy, we have had to make some tough decisions to change some teacher assignments. If students are changing teachers, parents should have already been notified by their current teachers. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Sanchez at tsanchez@wcpss.net.
