Veterans Day Celebration- Friday, November 9 at 10am
Our 2nd graders, student council, and color guard will be putting on a Veteran's Day Celebration on Friday, November 9 at 10:00am in the gymnasium. All Harris Creek Veteran family and friends, as well as active duty members are invited to attend the celebration. Students will be allowed to attend the celebration if they will be accompanying a Veteran or Active Military family member or friend. 2nd grade, student council, and color guard parents are welcome to come and see their students perform.
Celebrate your Veteran or Active Military Family Member or Friend
Students have been encouraged to create a poster to honor their Veteran or Active Military family and friends, that will be hung on the wall of the main hallway during the celebration. Students can pick up a sheet of construction paper- red, white, or blue, outside of the art room. They are encouraged to include a picture, name, branch of service, and any other information they would like to include about their person. They will turn these in to Mrs. DeMartz by Thursday afternoon.
