DRMS' Principal Message
Greetings Dolphin Families,
National Bus Driver Appreciation Week: This week, we proudly honor our dedicated school bus drivers who go above and beyond to ensure the safety and well-being of our students every day. Their commitment, patience, and friendly smiles help set a positive tone for students' mornings and provide a safe journey home each afternoon.
Let’s take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to these incredible individuals who brave early mornings, all kinds of weather, and busy roads—all with care and professionalism.
How You Can Show Appreciation:
- A simple “thank you” goes a long way.
- Students can write notes or create cards to share with their drivers.
- Small tokens of appreciation like coffee, snacks, or treats can brighten their day.
- On Friday, bring a Valentine for your driver
PTA Board Meeting: Tuesday, 2/11/25 @ 6:30 PM in the Media Center. Haven’t joined the PTA yet, it’s never too late. There’s still time to join the fun and make a difference! Join the PTA through GiveBacks.
DRMS JV Club Baseball Looking for 6th & 7th Graders to Join Team: Do you have a baseball player looking to join a new team this spring? Or perhaps your son is interested in playing baseball, but has never been on a team before. Either way — the DRMS Club Baseball Junior Varsity Team would love to hear from you! Baseball experience is a plus, but not required to play. Parents of 6th & 7th grade boys are invited to reach out to Coach Stigall to express interest and/or for more information about the team. We are looking forward to a great season filled with not only athletic growth and development, but also transferable life skills including self-esteem, discipline, problem solving, leadership, communication, patience and sportsmanship!

This engaging and creative program will allow students to explore storytelling, strategy, and teamwork in a fun and imaginative way. Interested students should fill out his interest form.
