DRMS Future Families Open House: This Thursday, 12/05/24 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, we’re rolling out the red carpet for 2025-2026 incoming students. We encourage all incoming 6th graders to attend. If your next-door neighbor has a middle school student who does not attend a WCPSS school, invite them to check out our amazing school. Spread the word—we can’t wait to see you all there! Please RSVP. 

12 Days of Track Out Spirit Days: Students and staff are invited to participate in Track Out Spirit Days beginning 12/06/24 - 12/20/24. Please see the flier for themed days, organized by the DRMS Student Council. 

News from the PTA: We’re excited to announce that the PTA is officially up and running! The PTA is ready to support our school community through exciting initiatives, events, and opportunities for family involvement.

School LeadersSIP Meeting: Our next meeting is on Wednesday, 12/03/24 at 3:45 PM in the Media Center.

Credit By Demonstrated Mastery (CDM): CDM offers North Carolina students the opportunity to personalize and accelerate their learning by earning course credit through a demonstration of mastery of course material by demonstrating a deep understanding of course content, without course enrollment or seat time. At DRMS, this applies to 8th grade students. For more information, please review the DRMS CDM Family Presentation. The application window is open now through Dec. 20, 2024
