Principal's Message June 21, 2024!
Hello Falcon Families!
Oh my goodness, we are approaching our last week of school for the 23-24 school year!!! Wow!!!! Can you believe it??? I want to say that I am beyond lucky and grateful that I am part of such an amazing school community! Your children bring us such joy every single day and I am so fortunate to get to see them, know them, and watch them accelerate their learning! It is remarkable! Thank you for choosing NFP!
Next week!
- Monday and Tuesday: Finalizing our EOG make-up exams and 3rd grade read to achieve tests. Our students have done such a great job honoring silent hallways and quiet settings to allow those testing to focus and do well on their EOGs! Kudos!
- Tuesday, June 25 at 1:45 will be a clapout for our two staff members retiring; Belinda May (receptionist) and Deb Enright (2nd grade track 2 teacher, former Kindergarten teacher as well). SHHHH!!!!! THEY DO NOT KNOW, IT IS A SURPISE!!!! Your child will line up in the hallway like we do for our 5th-graders clap-out but we will do it for those two ladies that have given MANY years of service to this school system and have loved and served children, making a difference in the lives of so many!
- If you would like to attend, please park at Forest Pines ES and I will have someone let you in at the door at the end of the K-1 hallway and we will have you wait in a classroom until it begins.

- Next week ends the Lindsey Hardin PTA President Era! I want to give a huge shout-out to Lindsey Hardin, our PTA president for the past two years. She has been an absolute joy to work with! Under her leadership, she has tirelessly advocated for both kids and staff, always with a heart of gold. Her efforts have showcased NFP as an amazing place through her engagement with families and the community, and by organizing fun activities and events that bring us all together. Ms. Hardin has been truly AMAZING, and we thank her for her love and dedication to our NFP families, staff, and students!
Next School Year!
- If you did not receive your child's track and teacher assignment for next year, please email our data manager, Latonia Knight, at llknight@wcpss.net. It was emailed to you from either my email account or the AP, Rebecca Piotrowski.
- We have Meet the Teacher on Tuesday, July 2 from 5-5:30 for all tracks.
- The first day of school for students on tracks 1 and 3 will be Monday, July 8. Track 4 starts July 29.
