5th-graders going to Wakefield Middle, possibly interested in band
Band directors from Wakefield MS, and Wakefield HS, Mr. McFarland, are very excited to offer their incoming band students an "Instrument Petting Zoo" at Wakefield High School on Wednesday, April 12th, at 6:30pm! They will have flutes, clarinets, alto saxophones, trumpets, trombones, baritones, and percussions available for children to try. Their hope is to get your child excited about the band program before they even have their first day of middle school!
Families, we need pictures for our yearbook! This is week 3 of a 6 week challenge. Please go to your photos RIGHT NOW and send a picture of your kid dressed up! Whether it is for a Spirit Day, 100th Day of School, or anything fun, we want it! Email it to firstname.lastname@example.org Please include their name, grade, and teacher. Let's fill the yearbook with your children's happy faces and experiences! Thank you for helping!
Falcon Fest: Friday, March 24th 4:30-7:30pm is approaching quickly! Tickets are on sale on the PTA website. Click here to purchase admission tickets and here to purchase raffle tickets. Thank you to all the room parents who are helping with their class's baskets! We look forward to having fun with our wonderful school community!
Staff Coffee Cart: On March 7th, the NFP PTA will be providing hot and cold drinks to the NFP staff from 7:45-8:45. Thank you to everyone who signed up already! We have a few spots left for volunteers to make and deliver drinks throughout the school. Please click here for the sign up genius.
2023-2024 SOAR Run--chairperson and co-chairs needed by March 17th: The NFP PTA needs a team of people to organize the annual SOAR Run. We recommend an overall chairperson and several co-chairs: prizes co-chair, financial co-chair, communications co-chair, and event days co-chair. The chairperson can likely do one of these co-chair roles, but a minimum of four is suggested, as well as several helpers under each co-chair. If you volunteer, you will not be expected to do this alone! You will have tons of support as you navigate your new role. If we do not secure these volunteers by 3/17, we will have to push back our dates, or hire a third-party company to run this event, which costs a lot of money. Please email Lindsey at email@example.com if you would like more information and/or are interested in taking on these roles!
Check out our website www.nfppta.com for all things NFP PTA!
Thank you, and as always if you have any questions or concerns, please let us know!
