REGISTRATION:  Students will be involved in the registration process this week and next week.  Please ensure that you review any paperwork that comes home for your review.  This is the time period where they carefully select their priority electives.  Have conversations around the elective choices prior to selection.  While we cannot guarantee they will be placed in all 12-16 of their requested electives, it is our goal to ensure that they are in the majority of courses selected.  They should not choose a class they are not willing to be engaged in for the 2024-2025 school year.  Once our schedule is set based upon the majority of student requests, we will not honor changes unless there is a hole, double the course, or if the student has not met the prerequisite.

April NEWSLETTER:  Please review the April Newsletter located on our website.  It provides a wealth of information for families in various subject areas and grade levels.

NEW MAGNET ENHANCEMENT:  We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you about our extended magnet theme here at Zebulon Middle! As many of you are already aware, we have introduced several new elements to enhance our gifted and talented magnet program.

At Zebulon Middle, our commitment to nurturing the unique gifts and talents of each student remains unwavering. We are dedicated to providing a diverse range of elective options that cater to the individual strengths and interests of every student within our school.

But that's not all! We are now proud to announce that we have become a Center for Advanced Studies and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). In the coming years, we will be collaborating closely with our esteemed staff, students, parents, and our supportive community partners to expand opportunities in the realms of STEM and advanced studies.

What sets this development apart is that both advanced studies and STEM will be seamlessly integrated into all of our core and elective courses. This integration will not only provide students with a deeper understanding of the subjects but will also establish vital connections to the real world. Our students will have the chance to witness, participate in, and contribute to the resolution of pressing issues within their community.

The infusion of advanced studies and STEM into our curriculum will encourage all students to engage in higher-order thinking and apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios. This enhancement equips our students with a creative mindset and the problem-solving skills needed to thrive in the modern world.

We are genuinely excited to welcome this exciting addition to our magnet theme, and we are eager to collaborate with all of our wonderful families at Zebulon GT Magnet Middle School: Center for Advanced Studies and STEM. Together, we will continue to provide our students with an exceptional and forward-thinking education that prepares them for success.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in the education journey of our students.
