4th Grade Parent Volunteers Needed

As the end of the school year approaches, we are eagerly preparing for the 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony. This event celebrates our 5th-grade students' accomplishments and marks an important milestone in their academic journey.

As is Wiley tradition, 4th grade parents assist with setup and decoration, delivering and managing reception refreshments and various other tasks to ensure the event runs smoothly. Please contact Marilyn Lall at president@wileypta.org if you are able to assist.

Join us for a week of camp where we will act, dance, sing and do set and prop making, and produce our own musical! Camp will be held on 8/5 - 8/9 from 9 am - 3 pm at Root Elementary and is open to all rising 3rd - 6th graders. Cost: $400. Registration and more information can be found on the TEK website.

Lost and Found

Please check out the current Lost and Found inventory. You may claim your item(s) in the Lost and Found Room in the cafeteria.

Dreambox Usage

Students are expected to complete at least 5 lessons a week in Dreambox. A Harvard University study has shown that just 60 minutes of DreamBox lessons per week can fast-track your students up to two grade levels in a year. We recommend that students complete five or more lessons per week with DreamBox Learning because students who complete five lessons each week show more math growth than those who complete fewer lessons. One lesson takes about 15 minutes. Dreambox is adaptive and constantly responding to the skills and understanding of your child. Having your child complete at least one Dreambox lesson a week can help your child’s teacher better understand their need, extend their learning, and/or address learning gaps.
