Holly Grove Elementary School is offering Single Subject Acceleration (SSA) opportunities for the 2025 academic year. SSA allows eligible K-8 students in the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) to advance in either Mathematics or English Language Arts (ELA) based on demonstrated ability.

Parents interested in nominating their child for SSA testing must complete the required SSA Test Request Form during their track’s designated request window:

• Track 1: Feb 17 - Mar 7, 2025
• Tracks 2, 3, & 4: March 10 - 28, 2025

Testing will take place at Holly Grove Elementary during the following periods:

• Tracks 1, 2, & 3: April 4 - 17, 2025
• Track 4: April 28 - May 9, 2025

Students must be currently enrolled and attending a WCPSS school during the open nomination and testing window to be eligible. No late requests will be accepted.
