Thank you for your patience and flexibility this summer.  Below is the VERY TENTATIVE Student Orientation schedule.  Student Orientation is for both 9th and 10th graders.

 

Thursday, August 14:  9:00 - 11:30am    Last names A -E

Thursday, August 14:  12:30 - 3:00pm    Last names F-L

Friday, August 15:       9:00 - 11:30am     Last names M-R

Friday, August 15:       12:30 - 3:00pm    Last names S-Z

 

If your child cannot attend the session based on the first letter of their last name, your child can come to the session that will work best for their schedule. We know our students have band camp, athletic practices, and may have other previously scheduled commitments.  For planning purposes please do your best to come when assigned.

 

We will update and confirm as soon as possible.  This is for students to learn the building and learn about various activities and events for the upcoming year.  

 

There will be an abbreviated Student Orientation make-up session on Monday, August 18 from noon to 1:00pm.  If your child needs to attend the make-up session please sign up HERE.  This form is only for students that need to attend the make-up session.

 

 

 

Schedules & Schedule Corrections: Schedules are not finalized yet and won't be until mid-August. We are currently not accepting any schedule change requests. There will be an online form released in August that students can fill out to request a correction to their schedule. This will be the only way to request a schedule correction - requests received through email will not be considered. The form will be sent through Mr. Morrison's weekly messenger and posted on the school's website in August.  This form will be available August 12.

 

WCPSS will be sending out bus information on Friday, August 15.

 

Meet the Teacher Night will be Wednesday, August 20 from 5:30 to 7:30pm.  This is a free flowing event for families and their children to walk the building and meet our staff.
