Parent Sessions: We would like to share our policies and procedures with our parents for the purpose of obtaining feedback from the parent lens.  We will also give an overview of what their child can expect at FGHS.  These sessions will be held at Hope Community Church.

Next week we will be sending a sign-up process for the sessions.  Each session will be capped at 300 people.  For this reason we are asking that only parents attend.  Each session will have the same presentation and feedback options.

Student Orientation for both 9th and 10th graders will be the week of August 11.  We will confirm dates and times as soon as building access is finalized. There will be multiple sessions over a couple of days that week.  This is for students to learn the building and learn about various activities, processes, and events for the upcoming year.

Meet the Teacher Night will be Wednesday, August 20 from 5:30 to 7:30pm.  This is a free flowing event for families and their children to walk the building and meet our staff.

 

Schedules & Schedule Corrections: Schedules are not finalized yet and won't be until mid-August. We are currently not accepting any schedule change requests. There will be an online form released in August that students can fill out to request a correction to their schedule. This will be the only way to request a schedule correction - requests received through email will not be considered. The form will be sent through Mr. Morrison's weekly messenger and posted on the school's website in August.

All of our students can download the Numworks App to their device (phone, Chromebook, or both) and they will have exactly the same calculator they use in our classrooms for free.  There is no need to buy a calculator to use at home.
