Hi, I'm Ms. Fredrick, or as I like to be called, Ms. Freddy! I've been an educator for 7 years and this is my first year at Laurel Park Elementary. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education.

I recently made the move to Raleigh with my husband and our one-year-old daughter after my husband parted ways with the Army. We're loving this new chapter and all the adventures it brings! 

Outside of school, you can find us in the mountains, or me reading in my favorite nook, or you'll oftentimes find me online shopping. 
My classroom is a place where every student is valued, encouraged, and challenged. I believe in creating a caring and inclusive environment where children feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and be themselves. I set high expectations for my students while helping them build the confidence and skills they need to reach their full potential.
