Hello! My name is Erin Vick and I love teaching third grade here at Lead Mine! I began my teaching career in 2011 and have taught first, second, and third grade over the years. My family is originally from just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My dad was in the Navy, so we moved frequently when I was growing up. I have lived in Maine, Florida, Virginia, and even the Azore Islands! I came to North Carolina to attend college at Chowan University where I received my degree in Elementary Education. After college, I taught in Hertford County for three years before moving to Wake County with my husband, Justin. We have one daughter, Avery, who is also a Lead Mine leopard. We spend a lot of our time at the park, watching Disney movies, and playing with our two dogs, Denali the Husky and Dee the Cane Corso. I like to travel and explore new places but love to spend as much time as I can at the beach. I am so proud to be a part of the Lead Mine family, and I am looking forward to an awesome year of fun and learning!
