Bulldog Blast - January 29, 2021

    YES Bulldog Blast - January 29, 2021

Your family has completed Week 22 in Remote Learning!

Plug in those devices and close the screens - you have done enough for this week!

Keep up the great work, I know it's hard and we are all feeling the "COVID fatigue" that comes with remote learning. I remain optimistic that this too shall pass (hopefully sooner than later). Please continue to keep the lines of communication open with your child's teacher so that we can continue to teach, learn, and grow. I continue to be in awe of the work and learning that is happening for our students and our teachers...and the students ARE LEARNING! Look at how far we have come since last March! Please tell your children how proud of them we are. They are so resilient and just want to do their best. Thank you for all that you continue to do to support the YES community, our teachers, and your child.

Don't forget to take the family/parent survey that was sent out via email this week from WCPSS. This is important information that will be used by the WCPSS BOE as they make their decisions regarding the return to campus.

Here is the Bulldog Blast link for this week. Please take a moment to read it this weekend as it's got some exciting news about new staff members, our Black History Month project/plans, and details about Title 1 funding. Once you open the link there are features in the upper right corner to translate it into multiple languages. Have a great weekend!
