Grace Period to Submit Student Immunization and Health Assessment Records Ends Dec. 30

  • After multiple extensions, Tuesday Dec. 1 was the state deadline for all students to submit a certification of immunization and a school health assessment.

The 30-day grace period will end December 30, 2020.

NC Law requires that students who have not submitted a certification of immunization and a school health assessment by December 30 must be excluded from in-person as well as remote instruction. Since schools are closed Dec. 22-Jan. 1, required forms must be submitted to your child’s school by Friday, Dec. 18. If the required forms are not submitted, students will lose access to WakeID and all digital resources for students.

If a new student moves into the district, they have 30 calendar days from their first date of attendance, whether attending remotely or in-person.
