Hello! My name is Annie Schafran and I am currently a track 4 Kindergarten IA. This will be my 7th year at Laurel Park. I have had many roles in education from substitute teaching to working at the preschool level before coming to LPES.

 I was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Cary in 2001 with my family.  
My husband and I have two daughters. My oldest daughter Alexis is married and lives in Apex. She is a mom to our first grandchild Ella Blake who just turned 1 year old in May.  My youngest daughter Bailey lives in Apex and is also at Laurel Park teaching first grade track 1.

My husband and I love spending time with our granddaughter!! I enjoy playing golf, traveling with friends, cooking for my family, and watching college football!!  We love to cheer on the Michigan Wolverines...Go Blue and the Detroit Lions! During my track-outs, I often travel to Michigan to see my family. I have 2 pets, a cat name Rue and a frenchie named Pepper.

I am looking forward to another great year at LPES.
