Mrs. Susan Cox
Mrs. Cox was born in Raleigh, grew up attending Wake County Public Schools and then majored in Spanish Education at UNC-Chapel Hill. She has taught in several Wake County schools, most recently JY Joyner IB Magnet Elementary and Jeffreys Grove Spanish Immersion Magnet Elementary. She is married and has three children, two graduates of UNC-Chapel Hill and one presently a student at UNC-Chapel Hill. After a brief retirement, she was excited to join the Wiley family last year. Mrs. Cox enjoys the International Studies theme. One of her favorite memories is traveling to Guatemala where she taught English classes in the village of Santa Cruz del Quiche. When she is not at Wiley, Mrs. Cox enjoys spending time with her family at the beach and cheering for the UNC Tar Heels! Of the 2030 United Nations Global Goals for Sustainable Development, the goal which stands out is that of quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. It is a privilege to work and learn together with the Wiley staff, students, and families.
