Hi!  My name is Allison Huckle, and I am so excited to teach at Lead Mine Elementary.  This is my second year here at Lead Mine, and I have been teaching for 17 years with the last 6 years in 1st grade!  I am from Rome, GA and have lived around Atlanta, GA most of my life.  My family and I relocated to Raleigh 3 years ago to be with our family here and we absolutely love Raleigh.  I attended LaGrange College for my Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and received my Master’s Degree in Education from Liberty University.

 

My husband and I have two boys. Our oldest son attends Sanderson High, and our youngest attends West Millbrook Middle.   We also have a sweet Maltipoo named Ellie Mae.  Our family loves this community, and you can usually find us attending events at the YMCA, at a UNC game, or hiking some of the trails around NC.  We also love being at the beach together!  In my spare time, I enjoy working out, running, enjoying a nice latte from Sola, and crafting things for my classroom.  I’m so excited for the year and can’t wait to get to know you and your little Leopard!
