Hornet Book/Poetry Club

The book club will give students the opportunity to share their love for literature with each other. This club will help students participate in the reading culture, as well as help students build a reading habit. We will meet two times per month to read, have deep discussions, and write reviews for the book we read each month.

Yearbook Club

Yearbook Photography Club provides an opportunity for 7th and 8th grade students to gain photography skills and contribute collaboratively to the HRMS yearbook. Yearbook Photography Club meets once a week after school to photograph school events and edit our HRMS yearbook. *We may have additional after-school commitments as needed to photograph school events*

National Junior Honor Society

 
The National Junior Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle-level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Seventh graders are inducted in the spring. Students are invited to apply for membership based on all five tenets of the NJHS.  Students will serve during their 8th grade year and are required to complete volunteer hours for the good of the school and their community.
