Rising Rams Message - 06/11/21

Dear Rising Rams Families-

We are getting closer and closer to beginning the 2021 – 2022 school year, which means we are going to see our Rising Rams very soon!  Here are a few important updates for you.

1. School Tours: We are offering two more dates for school tours.  Please click herefor the sign-up genius.  We are still limiting visits to a student and one parent or family member.

2. Back to school dates: We will host our Back-to-School nights for the 2021 – 2022 school on the following dates.  Specific times will be shared soon, but it will include a time for parents who are working during the day.

Please note that the Track 4 Back-to-School night is scheduled for later in July.  This will help us to continue to provide some social distancing to ensure everyone’s safety.  We look forward to beginning to resume normal activities and events, but want to ensure we are being safe during that transition.

Rising 6th Grade Track 1 & 3: Tuesday, July 6th

On this day you will be able to do things like: pick up your child’s schedule, sign up for Powerschools, get assistance with bus transportation, turn in medicine, and more.

3. Student/Parent handbook: We are finalizing our Student/Parent Handbook for the 2021 – 2022 school year and will provide that as soon as it is completed.

4. Questions and Answers: During our tours in May we provided an opportunity for you to leave questions you may have.  We have reviewed those questions and have provided answers.  You can find that document by clicking here.

5. PE Uniforms: Next year, we will return to the use of PE Uniforms.  While PE Uniforms are no longer required, we strongly encourage you to order one.  If students do not order a uniform, they are still expected to dress out for class.

Uniforms can be ordered by clicking here.  This will take you to the Johnson Lambe website.  Use our school code: RMSPE16.  From there, you will be able to place your order.  Orders will be shipped directly to school and we will pass them out to students as they arrive.

Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Thaddeus Sherman
