8th Grade Awards Updates

Dear 8th Grade Families,

We are excited to recognize and celebrate our 8th grade students at our awards and promotion ceremonies next Friday!  I wanted to follow-up about the RSVP and tickets for our Virtual Academy Students who will be coming for the in-person ceremonies on Friday.

We originally planned on using an online ticketing platform, but it became cumbersome and costly to do this effectively.  As a result, we will be checking names at the door upon arrival.  The good news is that if you forgot to RSVP you are still welcome to come to the ceremony next week.

I want to stress the importance of the two person limit.  Each student is allowed two guests to attend.  A third person will not be allowed so please plan accordingly.  Any sibling (toddler, younger, older) will count as one of the 2 guests.  No exceptions will be made.  If three guests arrive, you will be asked to decide which two will attend the ceremony.  We appreciate your understanding as we host our first live event in over a year.

Additionally, please do not bring any balloons into the building.  You are welcome to check your student out after the ceremony if you would like to continue to celebrate their accomplishments.

Also remember that all people on a school campus must wear a mask.  This includes anyone who may now be vaccinated.  The rules for masks in school remain in place for anyone on campus.

We look forward to seeing you next week!  As a reminder, we have included the schedule below:
