Our own Mr. Russell was the recipient of a generous grant from Apex Public School Foundation to begin work on his wonderful idea: WLES Collaboration Workshop!

The Workshop will consist of a well-equipped workshop/classroom space at WLES that will serve as the home base for a sustainable, flexible, ongoing series of vocational projects that envelope all the facets of STEM and teach practical skills that will benefit students for their lifetimes. Each project will focus on a specific theme or topic, such as woodworking, science, masonry, technology, or environmental conservation. These projects will be designed to encourage collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills among participants.
