Hello HMS Families!

Happy Spring!  Track 1, you still have another week of track out and we will see you back on Monday, March 31.  I want to thank all families for your patience to any delayed responses to emails last week while I was on vacation.  Thank you for your understanding.  There is not a lot of information to share this week.  

8th grade families: Agribusiness Academy

All students that applied to the Heritage High Agribusiness Academy should have received an email notification from Mrs. Starling on Monday, March 17, 2025. If you applied but did not receive an email please contact cstarling@wcpss.net. The application window for this program has been extended until Monday, March 24th for anyone that missed the deadline.

Athletics

It's a big week for Heritage Athletics because it's Rivalry Week! All games start at 4pm. 

• Softball vs. Rolesville that was originally planned for Monday, March 24 is rescheduled to April 2 due to a lack of umpire availability.
• Tuesday: Soccer vs. Wake Forest (HOME)
• Wednesday: Softball vs. Wake Forest (HOME)
• Thursday: Track at Rolesville (AWAY)

Tickets ($6) are available online at GoFan or at the gate. Come out and cheer on your Patriots to victory!

Parking Reminder: Spectators for soccer games and track meets must park along the road between the middle and elementary schools. Please pull off the road as much as possible and walk up to the event. Softball spectators may park in the same location or in the back of the main parking lot. From there, walk down the access road to the softball field. The rear parking lot near all fields is reserved for buses, officials, and handicap parking only.

PTA

• Save the date for our next spirit night at Goodberry's in WF!  March 26 11am - 10pm, mention HMS PTA when ordering. 
• Attention 8th Grade Parents: Celebrate your 8th Grader with a Yard Sign! The HMS PTA is selling yard signs, which you can personalize for $20 or purchase a generic sign for $15. Purchase deadline is April 4th and purchased signs can be picked up after school in carpool on April 17th and 18th. Click here to purchase.
• We are still looking for volunteers to serve as VP and Treasurer for PTA. These are critical positions. If you have any questions about these roles, please email hmspta.prez@gmail.com.
• Our teacher and staff lounge could use a few things! Parents have been so generous to keep things stocked..so THANK YOU! If you would like to donate, the HMS PTA Wish List has been updated!
