Weekly Reminders:

• School begins promptly at 8:30am. Dismissal begins at 3:00pm.
• ID is required when picking up a Leopard.
• Volunteers can register on campus to support our Leopards.
• Visitors can support our Leopards in the presence of LME Staff.
• The mosquitoes love Lead Mine as much as we all do! We cannot apply a repellent to the kiddos - it has worked this week for the adults to apply prior to school and it lasts throughout the day...it may help with decreasing mosquito bites on our littles each day.
• Our PTA has already begun their overwhelmingly positive support of our school. Your membership will support their efforts! Sign up here!
• The PTA Spirit Wear sale window will begin Monday and run through September 29th. Check your child's school communication folder for more information next week. The online link is located here!
• Link your Harris Teeter card (and your friends and family cards as well!) to 2231. Harris Teeter gives back to our PTA!
• Our first PTA General Meeting will convene on Thursday, September 29th at 5:00pm in the cafeteria!
• Mark your calendars...our teachers will be sharing information about teaching and learning at Lead Mine at the end of September.
  • 3-5 teachers and specialists will present on the evening of Thursday, September 22nd. Two identical sessions will be presented - one at 5:30pm and one at 6:15pm.
  • K-2 teachers and specialists will present on the evening of Thursday, September 29th. Two identical sessions will be presented - one at 5:30pm and one at 6:15pm.
