CARPOOL SAFETY REMINDERS

The speed limit on campus is 5MPH. Cell phones should not be used while in the carpool line on campus. There is no left turn into or out of our campus at arrival or dismissal.

All this is to protect our pedestrians. Unfortunately, we did have a parent get hit while in the crosswalk at the top of the drive this week. 

Please be vigilant and attentive while driving on campus. 

HEALTH UPDATES

• Students will be excluded from school for the DHHS-identified COVID-19 symptoms below:
• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea

When students can return to school

Students who are not feeling well but do not have one of the COVID-19 symptoms listed above may return to school 24 hours after they have a fever (without the use of fever reducing medicine) AND they have felt well for 24 hours. The health care provider is not required to detail the specifics of an alternate diagnosis.

Student device agreement forms came home this week. Please read, sign, and return to your Leopard's teacher as soon as possible.

PTA General Membership Meeting

Please join the PTA at our first general membership meeting to be held virtually, this coming Thursday, at 7:00pm. The link code came via school messenger email on Sunday, September 26th. We look forward to reviewing our hopes and dreams for the 2021-2022 school year!
