School Holiday: Please remember there is no school for students on Monday, November 11th.  Happy Veteran’s Day to all of our Veterans!  Thank you all so much for your commitment to serve and protect our country!

NC Health Assessment: All students who are still in need of updated Health Assessments and immunizations received a letter from our school.  Please know that the deadline is November 15th.  

Report Cards: Report Cards and IEP Progress Reports were sent home with all students on today, Friday, November 8th. Please be sure to check your child’s book bag.

Exciting Specials Update: Your Wakelon Specialists are excited to share this WEBSITE to inform families of what is going on in their classes during 2nd Quarter! 

Student Assessments: All Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade students will start the NC Check In State Assessments on Wednesday, November 13.  Additional information will come from your child’s teacher.  Please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep and arrives at school on time.  Thank you!

Family Engagement at Wakelon: Wakelon Elementary is excited to announce our "Wakelon Winter Wonderland" event that will take place in January.  During this family festival, we would like to provide a space for our Wakelon families to sell/market any of their "appropriate" small business goods and/or services. We are hosting the Winter Wonderland event on January 23rd from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. We are looking for businesses that would like to participate in selling and/or marketing their goods. The Market will take place in our gym. While we are happy to provide a space for you, we do have a small ask.  If you would like to participate in the market, we are asking that you donate a gift basket worth $20-25 that Wakelon can raffle off to families who attend, or a $20 cash donation.  This gift will be your contribution to participate at the Market.  If you are interested, please fill out the form below and someone from Wakelon will contact you!  Https://forms.gle/U7gUq1goYuaQgDKz9
