Happy Friday Wakelon Families!

This is Mrs. Nealy, your Wakelon Principal with our weekly updates!  

No School on Monday: Monday is a Teacher Workday.  There is no school for students on Monday.  We look forward to seeing our students on Tuesday, October 15th. 

Volunteer Renewal: All Wakelon family members who were approved volunteers during the 2023-24 school year have until October 14, 2024, to renew their volunteer status for the 2024-25 school year. You must be an approved volunteer to supervise and attend field trips with your student, or assist throughout the building on the Wakelon campus, among other things. Please go to My Volunteer Volunteer Renewal site to renew your volunteer status today!

The Hispanic Heritage Read In will be on Tuesday, October 15th. All classes will have a school or community leader to come and read a pre-selected book that focuses on Spanish heritage and culture.  We are excited to have this opportunity for our students to meet community leaders and to continue to learn more about Hispanic culture.
