Happy Friday Wakelon Families!

This is Mrs. Nealy, your Wakelon Principal with our weekly updates!  We had a great second week.  Thank you for all that you do for your children.

September PTA Meeting: We will have our first PTA meeting on Monday, September 9th.  This meeting will take place in the Media Center on Monday.  Start time is 5:30 pm.

Picture Day- It’s already time for Fall Picture Day.  Be sure to bring your beautiful smiles on Tuesday, September 10th. Please remember this will be your child’s picture that will be placed in the yearbook. 

Third-Grade BOG Testing: Our third-grade students will participate in the Beginning of Grade (BOG) testing on Tuesday, September 10th.  This assessment will provide teachers with baseline data to see what our 3rd-grade students know at the beginning of their 3rd-grade year.  Please make sure our 3rd-grade students get plenty of rest.

Teacher Assistant Appreciation Day: We will be celebrating our hard-working Teacher Assistants on Friday, September 13.  Please be sure to thank them in any sweet way you see appropriate.  This is the time to let them know just how much we appreciate all that they do!
