Good evening Mustang Families. This will be our final Mustang News of the 2023-2024 school year.

Congratulations: To our 8^th grade, now 9^th grade students, congratulations on the completion of middle school! It has been a joy to work with you over the past three years and watch you grow as young people, developing your gifts and talents. I cannot wait to hear all the amazing things you are doing in high school! Work hard, be kind, get involved and enjoy the next four years.

Rising 7^th and 8^th Graders: We hope you have a wonderful summer, and we are looking forward to having you lead the way next year for our new students!

Thank You: On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to thank all families for helping with the end of year celebrations. Your support through snacks, drinks, setup/cleanup, and supervision made each celebration possible. We are also grateful for the 8^th grade families who participated in our Spring Fling. We enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with our 8^th grade families one last time!

Congratulations: Bhagy Savaram will have her artwork installed at a bikeshare station in Raleigh this summer as she depicted the future of transportation in Raleigh’s Micromobility Art Contest sponsored by the City of Raleigh.

Thank You: I would like to thank Martin parent Suzanne Rogers who, for the last two years, has translated our weekly family messages into Spanish. I am grateful for your help each week as you have supported our efforts to communicate with all families. Thank you!

Volunteer Renewal Process Opens July 1^st: Families who were approved to volunteer in the 2023-24 school year received an email on June 1 outlining the simple volunteer renewal process for the 2024-25 school year.
