May 5, 2024 Mustang News
Good evening Mustang Families. We hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
Teacher Appreciation Week: This week marks Teacher Appreciation Week and Martin has amazing teachers who dedicate themselves to our students and their success. As a way of showing appreciation, consider having your student write a note of thanks to one of their teachers who have had an impact on their lives.
Missing Work: All missing assignments and assessments are due on May 8th for the first half of the quarter. This will allow teachers the opportunity to evaluate and update grades prior to the midpoint of the quarter the following week. Please check Canvas and PowerSchool for any assignments or assessments that are missing. Students should also check in with teachers if they have questions.
Spring Concerts: Our Spring Concert Season continues this week as the Martin Choral Department will take the stage for its concert on Thursday, May 9th. The concert begins at 7pm in the auditorium.
FFA News: FFA Officers: Students interested in having a leadership role in Martin FFA next year are encouraged to submit an officer application! More information about FFA Officers, the Officer Handbook and the FFA Officer Application can be found at https://bit.ly/MustangFFAOfficers. Applications are due May 8th! Email Ms. Neal (ksmith24@wcpss.net) if you have any questions!

The FFA Banquet will celebrate our year as a FFA Chapter and highlight all the accomplishments our members have achieved. Please RSVP on our website (www.bit.ly/MustangFFA) by Monday, May 13. Email Ms. Neal (ksmith24@wcpss.net) if you have any questions!
