Week of April 29, 2024
Hello Carver families,
I hope you have had a wonderful weekend! We are looking forward to having our Carver Cubs back at school tomorrow.
Please take some time to review the important information provided below:
Welcome
Please help us welcome Ms. Cynthia Granat to our Carver TEAM. She joined our staff as Building Sub last week. We are very glad to have her!
Wake up and Read Partnership
This year the Wake Up and Read community coalition will support us in our efforts to achieve our school’s literacy goals. To help promote the love of reading and continuous practice, our K-5 students will participate in the Wake Up and Read book distribution on May 7th and 8th at Carver. Each student will be able to select 6 books to take home. We hope that you will continue to encourage daily reading at home.
Social Emotional Learning at Carver
For the remainder of the year, students will review Second Step concepts from Units 1-4 during SEL time. Please access Ms. McCloud's Website for more information.
