Week of April 15, 2024

Hello Carver families,

We had such fun learning the Bollywood style of dance on Friday. Our Carver Cubs really seemed to enjoy the performance and learning a new dance style. I want to thank Ms. Rivera, Art Teacher and Ms. Boykin, Music Teacher for volunteering to be our Cultural Arts Coordinators. Thanks to their leadership and collaboration with our PTA, our students benefited from two outstanding cultural arts experiences this school year.

Please take some time to review the important information provided below:

It is Occupational Therapist Appreciation Month: We want to send a special shoutout to our amazing Occupational Therapist, Mrs. Christina Moore. Mrs. Moore worked in Skilled Nursing before transitioning to the public school system.  Mrs. Moore has been working for Wake County Public Schools since 2018.  She currently serves students at Carver Elementary and Walnut Creek Elementary in addition to serving as an area team lead for the occupational therapy department.

Are you looking for ways to support your child's literacy at home to help them be successful? Participants will receive resources and practical tips to use with their children at home. If you would like to attend the summit please Complete the Google Form to RSVP by April 19.
