Hello Carver Families and welcome back to another “Extraordinary” week! 

I hope that the mom’s had an awesome Mother’s Day and that our Carver Cubs showed you just how very special you are :-) I also want to thank our wonderful PTA and all of you for showing our teachers how much you care about them. Teacher’s Appreciation Week was incredible!

 Please read below for important Carver news and have a great week. 

This Week:

• End of year mClass, NKT and STAR math assessments will continue 
• After-school tutoring takes place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week for selected students. Remember to call the school or notify your child’s teacher if they are not able to stay. Tutoring ends May 11th.
• Friday, May 13 - Kindergarten Orientation will take place for families that have registered their Kindergarten age student to be a part of our Carver Family next school year. The Orientation will take place from 1pm-2:15pm. Parents will participate in an information session in the Media Center and rising Kindergartners may participate in classroom activities with our current Kindergarten students. 

Reminders: 

• Carver Yearbooks are on sale. Get yours while supplies last. You can order online at strawbridge.net with the code YB100108, pay by check made payable to Strawbridge, or by sending in the exact cash amount (no change will be made by PTA or the school). The yearbooks are $20.

Upcoming Events:

• EOG’s (Grades 3 - 5) Week of May 16th
• Teachers will communicate with their families about their end of year celebration events.
• May 26th - Moving up Ceremonies for Pre-K: Houston and Champion 10:00,  Liles 12:00noon
• May 27th - 5th Grade Moving Up Program 9:45 - 11:30

• May 27th - Last day of School
