SCHOOL EVENTS
NOSEVEMBER: Morrisville is holding a special contest for students. All students are invited to decorate a tissue box like any book character that they love. Please bring in all entries for the contest to Ms. Minton by Monday, November 4. Read more about contest rules and prizes at Storybook Tissue Box Contest.
TRACK 3 & 4 MUSIC NIGHT: Morrisville is excited to host a Fall Mustang Music Night on November 21 for students in Grades 1-4 on Tracks 3 & 4. Performances for students in First and Second Grade will begin at 6:30 PM. Performances for students in Third and Fourth Grade will begin at 7:30 PM. Mr. Mangum is holding a contest for students to design the cover for the Mustang Music Night program. For contest rules visit Program Artwork Contest
DONUTS WITH GROWNUPS: The PTA invites Track 3 & 4 families for a special morning event on Friday, November 22. Enjoy a sweet treat and connect with other families, 8:45 AM – 9:10 AM. CogAT Meeting: The Morrisville Academically Gifted program will host a virtual meeting for Third Grade Track 3 & 4 families on Wednesday, November 13, at 4:30 PM to share information regarding results from CogAT testing. More details will be shared with families.

WCPSS has provided updated guidance for families who missed the registration deadline or would like to become volunteers and are currently without an SSN. This situation may impact many Morrisville families who have moved from out of country. Read details at Volunteering Updates
REMINDERS
FIELD TRIPS: Make field trip payments at School Cash Online. Please consider donating to help students in need participate on field trips. Individuals willing to support can share online using this link for Field Trip Donations. Thank you in advance for your generosity and assistance.
TOURS: Tours for families who will enroll students for the 2025-2026 academic year are now available. Register online at School Tours Sign Up.
TARDIES: Families, if you arrive late to school after 9:15 AM please park and come to the front door with your child so you can sign them in to school tardy. We need an adult present to sign the student in.
ABSENCES: If your child is absent from school, be sure to send a written note to your child’s teacher when they return. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and healthy!

Next PTA Meeting: November 22. All meetings are at 8:00 AM in the Media Center. Children are welcome as long as they can play quietly.
