Please continue to be at your bus stop 10 minutes before the posted time to ensure your child does not miss the bus. You can check our live bus departure times every afternoon at this link on our Morrisville Elementary website so that you will know when your child’s bus has left our campus. If you have any additional transportation questions, please contact our assistant principal, April Thomas, at athomas7@wcpss.net.

VOLUNTEERS
As classes prepare for fall field trips, parents who were approved to volunteer last year should be sure to complete their volunteer reactivation by the Oct 1 deadline. Families and individuals who were approved to volunteer during the 2023-24 school year received an email on July 1 outlining the quick and easy volunteer renewal process for the 2024-25 school year. Families can visit Volunteering in WCPSS to learn more about volunteer renewal or apply to be a first-time volunteer.
MORRISVILLE MARKET
The next MUSTANG MARKET is September 6. Students can shop at the student store between the morning bells from 8:45 to 9:10.
The MES MUSTANG MARKET is a time for students to shop and purchase (CASH ONLY) items such as pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, and pencil boxes. Students can stop by the cafeteria from 8:45 to 9:10 to check out the items in the store. It is a great opportunity to practice money counting skills. Items cost between $0.25 to $2.00.
The store is hosted by the PTA and the student leaders help shoppers pick out items, count their money and pay for their items. **There is some MES merchandise available such as MES Stickers, water bottles, hairbows and totes. These items range from $3 to $20.
