Hello Families,

Today, Morrisville Elementary students participated in a code red lockdown safety drill.  This was only a practice drill. 

A code red lockdown is our highest security level.  In a code red, no one is allowed to enter or exit the building, and all students remain in their classrooms with doors locked.  The lockdown remains in place until law enforcement gives the school and all-clear announcement.

Again, today’s activity was only a practice drill.  Keeping students safe is a top priority which is why staying prepared, and practicing safety drills, like this occur on a regular basis.  We appreciate the cooperation of our students and staff members with these efforts.
