Rising kindergarten siblings of magnet students in grades K-4 MUST enroll and apply to attend the same school as the older sibling. 5th and 8th-grade siblings of magnet students at the next grade level have already been assigned to the same magnet as the older sibling. Parents may email me the name of the sibling for confirmation (
Applicants may apply to any magnet school that is an option for their address although applying to the pathway school for the current school provides the highest priority to be selected (  Students with magnet status who apply to the pathway middle or high school for the current school/program (, will be selected for that school. Students with magnet status may also apply to other magnet schools and list them as higher choices than the pathway school. If you are not selected for the other magnets, you will be put in the applicant pool for your first choice school and you will still be selected for the pathway magnet school.
** Magnet students at Hunter, Fuller, Washington, Underwood, Zebulon, Powell, and Wiley have the highest priority to the TRAD calendar GT school for their address (Carnage, Ligon, Martin, or Zebulon). These students may apply to Moore Square but that school may not be able to select all magnet students who request it. They may list Moore Square as their first choice but should also list their TRAD calendar  GT option school. If they are not able to be selected for Moore Square, they will be put in the applicant pool for Moore Square but they will be selected for their pathway TRAD calendar  GT option.
***  Magnet students at Poe and Partnership have the highest priority to Moore Square.
