May 31st Mustang News
Hello Mustang Families! It is hard to believe that we are almost at the end of the 2019-2020 school year! Students, if you have not yet talked with your teachers about grade recovery, please do so on Monday.
The Virtual End of Year Awards Celebration will be on Friday. A link to the video will be sent Friday morning.
Ms. Rowell and Mr. Kimbro will host an 8th Grade Parent Chat on Tuesday at 2pm. The link to the meeting is included in the Mustand News email and text.
We have formalized our plan for locker clean out and material return for the week of June 8th. Below is the schedule. We have assigned times alpha by last name and ask, if possible, your family comes during the assigned time to help with wait times. We will use the bus loop entrance for students to access their lockers and return materials. Directional signs will be posted to help with flow. Please see the attached information for full details about the locker clean out and material drop off.

Yearbooks will be distributed during the locker clean out days. We still have approximately 40 yearbooks available for purchase. The yearbook looks fantastic and I am so proud of the hard work Ms. Thomas and the Yearbook staff put in this year. You will not want to miss out on this wonderful keepsake! At this time, yearbooks can only be purchased online. Information to purchase: http://jostensyearbooks.com/?ref=A01048081
In closing, this has been a difficult week for all members of our school community as we continue to deal with the impact of COVID-19 and the need to socially distance as well as the troubling events in Minneapolis and across the nation. I know that we are all affected in some manner. I also know that some are affected more than others. We, as a Martin community, have always come together when we face challenges and times of unease. We will continue to come together to support all our students and families as we work to strengthen our community and ensure equity for all. We will continue to build relationships with each other that are inclusive of others as well as celebrate the individual differences of members of our family.
Thank you, Mustang families. Be safe and take care of each other.
