Bring your family and friends out to celebrate the kickoff of WAKE Up and Read's annual book drive at John Chavis Community Center, 505 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., on March 1 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

We will be accepting new books in support of our 28 partner schools and 17 child development centers to promote summer reading.

There will be games, giveaways, food, and fun. You don't want to miss hearing local celebrities sharing their favorite book.  We look forward to seeing you there! Please RSVP by Feb. 26.
