RBMS Attendance Protocol
Coming to school every day, ready to learn, is important for your child's success -- and it's required by state law for children between the ages of 7 and 16.
Excused absences include:
- illness or injury
- death in the family
- health care appointments…...Please make sure you ask for a Slip from your health care provider to show your appointment.
- court appearances
- religious observance
- natural disasters
- outside educational opportunities (you'll need to complete this form in advance)
You need to provide a note or an email within two days of your child's school or the absences will be recorded as unexcused. Mr Capro’s email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your child is coming in after 8:15am please make sure they stop by the office first to check into school. Your child can not go to class without a tardy slip.
You will be notified if your child has three or more unexcused absences, and will work with you and your child if there is an absenteeism concern.
